We invite you to join us in Walkerton, the county seat of Bruce, located on the Saugeen River in southern Bruce County. Our scenic location affords us ready access to wonderful beaches, ski resorts, golf courses, hiking and biking trails, and a myriad of recreational activities. The Brockton & Area Family Health Team, operating in clinics located in Walkerton, Paisley, and Mildmay has been fully operative since January 2007. It is considered to be in the top 10% of FHT's in Ontario, and the recent expansion to include the communities of Chesley and Durham was a ‘first' expansion approval ever granted by the Ministry of Health. There are now slightly over 22,000 rostered patients within our FHT.
Our physicians enjoy a congenial relationship with each other, and are supported by our municipal governments, our citizens, and the South Bruce Grey Health Centre Administration. A family medicine practice can be combined with ER, obstetrics, or anesthesiology.
