• Large birthing suites, en suite washrooms with jacuzzi tubs, kitchenette facilities
• Labour support (one to one nursing care)
• 24-hour prenatal and postnatal telephone support by Obstetrical nurses

• Postpartum and postnatal follow-up clinic 48 hours after discharge

2:00-4:00 PM, 7:00-8:00 PM

How do I access this service?

• Speak to your family physician for a referral to the SBGHC Family Birthing Centre
• If you do not have a family physician, the following physicians are accepting new patients for obstetrical care:

Preadmission Clinic

Women at 34 weeks gestation are requested to call the Family Birthing Centre to make an appointment for a preadmission visit.
