How do I access this service?

A physician referral is required.  To make an appointment, please call one of the numbers listed above.

Length of Appointment

30 to 60 minutes

Patient Instructions

• SBGHC has a no scent policy. No perfumes please.

• Bring a current list of your medications. We may not be able to proceed with your test without it.

• You may eat before the test, but avoid heavy meals.

• Do not smoke the day of the test.

• No alcohol or caffeine for 4 hours before the test.

• Wear suitable clothes and footwear for exercise.

• Do not apply any body lotion or oil to your chest area the day of your test.

Test Results

Test results will be provided to the physician who referred you for the test.  You will be contacted by your physician's office with your results.   

Where do I register for my appointment?

Please present at Central Registration upon arrival at the hospital. You will then be directed to the location of your appointment.

Durham Registration: inside main entrance (College St.)
Kincardine Registration: inside emergency entrance
Walkerton Registration: inside emergency entrance
