Community Lab Collections

Appointments are required for all Community Lab Collections. Patients with multiple requisitions require two consecutive time slots to be booked.

Please have your health card ready when booking your appointment.

(*note – the booking app is not supported using the Internet Explorer browser.  Recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari will all work).

To book an appointment over the phone, please call 226-257-1600.

*Note: Patients requiring Glucose Tolerance testing must be an appointment no later than 1:00pm.

A physician referral is required.

*Note: standing orders are not kept on file.  Please bring a copy of your requisition and your health card.

If you have a Ministry of Health requisition (shown below), you do not need to register to have your samples collected.  Please proceed directly to the Community Lab Collections room (an appointment is still required).

If you have a South Bruce Grey Health Centre requisition (shown below), please visit Patient Registration to register when you arrive at the hospital.

Please follow any preparations as advised by your physician (i.e. fasting).  Test preparations are also indicated on the hospital laboratory request form or can be obtained by visiting the Dynacare website at Dynacare – Find a Test.. If you have any additional questions, please contact the laboratory; voicemail is continuously monitored.

Please note, outpatient lab work for all SBGHC sites is processed through Dynacare, and not available to view within the ConnectMyHealth portal.
