Base Funding Increase for 2018-2019

South Bruce Grey Health Centre has received a 2% increase to base funding for the 2018-2019 fiscal year.

The 2% increase represents 636K in new funding. Although it is an important and significant increase, the organization will remain challenged to keep pace with inflation in the hospital sector.

“With collective agreement increases and inflationary increases in fuel, electricity and hospital supplies, these funding boosts are vitally important to our ability to maintain service levels at all of our four hospital sites,” explains Paul Rosebush, President and CEO.

South Bruce Grey Health Centre finished the 2017-2018 fiscal year in a balanced budget position.

The organization’s 2018-2019 Hospital Accountability Planning Submission (HAPS) budget and Hospital Service Accountability Agreement (H-SAA) have been completed and submitted to the South West LHIN with no service or program changes.
