Interim CEO Named for South Bruce Grey Health Centre

South Bruce Grey Health Centre (SBGHC) has contracted an interim President and CEO to lead the organization during the recruitment process for a permanent CEO, following the departure of Paul Rosebush.

Michael Barrett joined SBGHC as the Interim President and CEO on August 27, 2018. Michael has provided senior leadership to the South West Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) as its CEO for 10 years, and most recently been consulting for other LHINs, including the North East and South East LHINs. Michael brings a wealth of knowledge from his previous experience with responsibilities for over 150 health service providers in the province.

“We are very pleased that Michael has agreed to join us for this interim period as we embark on our search for our next President and CEO,” explains Larry Allison, SBGHC Board Chair. “This will allow us to take the appropriate time to put the proper leadership in place to ensure the long-term success of the organization.”

An Executive Search Firm has been selected by SBGHC’s Board of Directors to oversee the recruitment of a new CEO, and work is now underway.
