After an extensive engagement and consultation process, South Bruce Grey Health Centre (SBGHC) completed the development of a new strategic plan for 2021-2025 in June 2021.
Our new five-year plan builds on the key accomplishments from our 2017-2020 strategic plan and sets directions that will shape the future of health care in the southern part of Grey and Bruce Counties.
Engaging with our staff, physicians, patients, families and community stakeholders has been a key part of the process to ensure that our plan is reflective of the needs of our communities and the desired culture of our organization.
The engagement process, led internally by SBGHC’s leadership team, began in October 2020 and took place entirely virtually as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a series of focus groups and one-on-one interviews with our staff, physicians, community stakeholders and health system partners, we heard consistent messages about what is valued most about local health care and SBGHC’s role in delivering care and as a community partner.
The plan that has been developed has evolved with each and every conversation that we have had with our stakeholders throughout this process, and is built on the framework of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s (IHI) quadruple aim for a high performing health system.
Our vision for the coming years is reflective of the importance of our communities, the people we serve, and that our success in achieving our goals will be as a result of our partnerships with our patients, visitors, staff, physicians, volunteers and health system partners.
On behalf of SBGHC’s Board of Directors and Leadership Team, we invite you to review our Strategic Plan for 2021-2025.
