Our goal at South Bruce Grey Health Centre is to ensure that the patient and family voice is represented in all aspects delivering care, by:

• Supporting our patients and families to be active participants in their care in a healthy, safe and respectful environment.
• Engaging patients and families in operational decision-making and planning.
• Working together to continuously improve the quality of care we provide.

If you are interested in volunteering some time to share ideas and have discussions about how to improve care at SBGHC, we have opportunities available with varying levels of commitment.

  • SBGHC’s Patient and Family Advisory Council is the voice of our patients and families that informs improvement initiatives across our four sites.

Hospital Advisor Program

A hospital advisor is someone who:

  • Helps improve the patient and family experience and quality of care
  • Provides feedback based on experiences at the hospital
  • Works with care teams for short or long-term commitments
  • Volunteers to help improve services at the hospital
  • For example, we may reach out to ask you a question, or to fill out a brief survey or tour you through the hospital to get your input on potential improvements – the time commitment is very flexible.
