Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) Now Available at SBGHC Kincardine Site

We are pleased to share that Brightshores Health System is now operating a RAAM (Rapid Access Addiction Medicine) clinic at South Bruce Grey Health Centre’s Kincardine hospital site every Friday morning in our ambulatory care space.

A RAAM clinic is a low-barrier, walk-in clinic that patients can attend to get help for substance use disorder with or without an appointment or formal referral.  RAAM clinics provide time-limited medical addiction care, which includes medications, counselling, and referrals to community services.  The clinic will be staffed with a Nurse Practitioner and Social Worker.

To access this service, practitioners, family members or individuals can fill out a referral form and submit it to the fax number listed at the top of the form.  Each referral is triaged by one of the RAAM Counsellors and then the individual being referred will be contacted to book an appointment at the location of their choice.

Alternatively, you can call the RAAM clinic to book an appointment at 519-376-3999 ext. 2, and drop-ins are aIso welcome.
