SBGHC Invites Applications for Board of Directors
South Bruce Grey Health Centre (SBGHC) is inviting applications for open positions on our Board of Directors.
SBGHC is a multi-site, rural hospital organization serving southern Grey and Bruce Counties, with four hospital sites in Chesley, Durham, Kincardine and Walkerton. SBGHC’s hospital sites provide access to care for approximately 44,000 local residents in addition to 10,000 seasonal residents and over 30,000 tourists annually.
SBGHC has a skills-based Board of Directors, and aims to recruit members with skills, experience, qualities and diversity that are in line with our corporate mission, objectives, and strategic direction. The Board of Directors is responsible for the overall governance of the affairs of SBGHC.
SBGHC is currently seeking applications from individuals with knowledge and expertise in the following areas:
- Legal
- Human Resources
- Patient & Health Care Advisory
- Finance
Ideally, eligible candidates have a principal residence or business within the area serviced by SBGHC, including the communities and surrounding areas of Chesley, Durham, Kincardine, and Walkerton. A full list of eligibility qualifications can be found on our website.
