SBGHC Welcomes Dr. Jaclyn Robinson to the Walkerton Physician Team
SBGHC is excited to welcome another new physician to our Walkerton physician team, Dr. Jaclyn Robinson.
Dr. Robinson grew up in the Walkerton community and recently returned home with her growing family to establish her medical career within our community. Dr. Robinson completed an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with a Child Health Specialization at McMaster University, a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Ottawa, a Family Medicine Residency in Hanover through the University of Western Ontario and an additional Family Practice Anesthesia Residency with the University of Ottawa.
Dr. Robinson will be primarily supporting our surgical program, providing full-time anesthesia coverage in the operating room and over the next year, she will be joining our Obstetrical team in the Dr. R.J Creighton Family Birthing Centre. Dr. Robinson will not be establishing her own family practice at this time but will be providing interim coverage for physician colleagues within the Brockton Family Health Organization as needed.

My husband, Austin, and I are exceedingly grateful to everyone who has made it not only possible, but a joy, for us to return home. As noted, I recently finished my training in anesthesia and look forward to providing anesthesia as my main focus over the upcoming months. Future career plans include providing obstetrical, inpatient, and primary care to our community. Alongside practicing medicine, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, doing activities such as hiking new trails, splashing at the pool, and riding our bikes along the river trail.
