Trillium Gift of Life Network (TGLN) Recognizes SBGHC for Outstanding Support of Organ Donation Program
Trillium Gift of Life network (TGLN) has recognized South Bruce Grey Health Centre (SBGHC) for outstanding support of the organ donation program. SBGHC received a Hospital Achievement Award for 2023/24 for achieving a Provincial Routine Notification Rate of 100%.
In 2023/2024, SBGHC made 22 notifications to Ontario Health (TGLN) which allowed donation opportunities to be assessed, enhancing the lives of others across the province. A sincere thank you to our very dedicated nursing staff within SBGHC for achieving this distinguished award.
Ontario Health (TGLN)’s mission is to save and enhance more lives through the gift of organ and tissue donation in Ontario. In 2023/2024, hospitals in Ontario supported 380 organ donors, providing life-saving organ transplants to 1075 individuals, as well as 1900 tissue donors, enhancing the lives of many others.
