SBGHC Introduces Stereotactic Breast Biopsy with Vacuum Assist
SBGHC is committed to enhancing local health services, making high-quality care accessible for our communities. We are thrilled to announce that we are now providing Stereotactic Breast Biopsy with Vacuum Assist—a minimally invasive, highly precise procedure designed to aid in early breast cancer detection. On November 14th, General Electric and Hologic Application specialists were onsite to train our radiology team and bring this advanced technique to SBGHC. Previously, patients had to travel long distances to access this service that provides more comfort and accuracy, and helps patients get results faster.
